Updated Kiddush Policy -
Shabbat Services- Effective Immediately

As approved by the Board of Directors at the October 22, 2026 Meeting, please be advised of the following take out protocol for removal of Kiddush food leftovers from our synagogue on Shabbat.
Congregants may remove leftover food from the Shabbat Kiddush, but only using paper plates and Saran Wrap covering as provided . Use of personal “Tupper ware” type containers or other containers brought from outside the Synagogue is not permitted.
Preference for taking excess food is given to any congregant, intending to deliver it to person(s), who for one reason or another, are unable to attend services on that Shabbat. Honor system prevails on this.
For personal use, please limit your take out to one plate each person to ensure there is sufficient food to be shared by all.
Remaining food will be wrapped by our custodian, to maximum extent possible, and held in our refrigerator or frozen, as appropriate.
The intent of this policy is to enable us to minimize food wastage within the framework of a reasonable approach to Shabbat observance.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
