“Everything You Wanted to Know about
God but Were Afraid to Ask”

As I announced in last month’s VOICE, I will be teaching a class on Kabbalah: “Everything You Wanted to Know about God but Were Afraid to Ask,” beginning in June. It is a primer on Kabbalah, from the words of rabbis and Jewish scholars living hundreds of years ago, as translated into English. (For more information about Kabbalah, see my column in the March VOICE.)

If I have you on my list of those who are interested in joining us and would like a free copy of the book that we will be studying: The Essential Kabbalah — the Heart of Jewish Mysticism, by Daniel C. Matt, I will be reaching out to you this week to confirm that I am ordering it for you. If you have not heard from me, please contact me and I will add you to my list.

We will hold classes on an-every other week schedule that meets on Thursdays, afternoons from 4:00-5:15 pm and a ‘repeat’ of the class in the evenings from 7:30 pm to 8:45 pm.  It will go at least through the Summer, at the convenience of those who sign up for the classes. Both sessions will be in-person and on ZOOM.

And anybody else who had previously not weighed in on the scheduling will still be able to attend and participate, which will include receiving a copy of the book. Non-members, both Jewish and non-Jewish, will also be welcome to attend without cost but they will have to obtain their own copies of the work, on Amazon at approximately $11 (pb)

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Rav Julius.
