Be a part of Eastern Connecticut’s Jewish community growing stronger together!

All are welcome – and encouraged to participate – on Friday evening, January 26, as we welcome Shabbat with an engaging service and dinner. Sponsored by Beth El and Beth Jacob, the community is invited to Beth Jacob Synagogue, for a fun event that will focus on spending time with old friends and new.

The 4-course (vegetarian) dinner (and service) is open to members and non-members of congregations in Eastern Connecticut.

Dinner will be prepared by a team of experienced volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering and want to join in the fun on Thursday evening, January 25, please let Alan Ruditzky know (860 591-6014) or respond to email listed below.

There is no charge for the dinner, but we would appreciate your RSVP to ensure sufficient food is ordered. Please call the Beth Jacob office at 860-886-2459 with your reservation, or email foodschmoozecommunity@gmail. com with your name and the number of people in your party. Please respond by January 23.

Kabbalat Shabbat evening services will start at 6:00 pm. Dinner will start at approximately 7:00 pm.

We look forward to seeing you!!
